An older Android build reported Gradle DSL method not found: deleteAllActions() after a toolchain upgrade. In that project, Java 8 compatibility made the separate Retrolambda plugin unnecessary.
The recorded fix removed both the applied plugin and its buildscript dependency:
apply plugin: 'me.tatarka.retrolambda'
classpath "me.tatarka:gradle-retrolambda:3.2.2" These lines identify what was removed; they are not additions to a new project. The note concerns the original Gradle/plugin combination and does not establish compatibility for an arbitrary later build.
