A native launch screen can appear before Flutter paints its first frame. The original short note configured separate Android drawable resources and iOS asset/storyboard files.

The directory names and drawable references need to agree with the resources actually supplied by the application.

The source added LaunchBackground.imageset and LaunchImage.imageset to Runner’s asset catalog, then adjusted its launch storyboard:
+ Expand View Controller Scene -> View Controller -> View
+ Add object -> Search ImageView -> Drag ImageView object to View (front of LaunchImage)
-> Select Attributes inspector -> Custom Image to LaunchBackground
-> Change View Content Mode to Scale To Fill -> Add 0, 0, 0, 0 as constrains
-> Save
The original image-set ZIP downloads are not imported into this site; their archive contents were outside the reviewed raster-asset boundary. These steps describe the older host project and do not establish current platform launch-screen requirements. No native project was modified.
