Finding virtualization support in firmware settings

A short historical note on the firmware toggle behind hardware-assisted virtualization.

Some machines expose hardware-assisted virtualization as a firmware setting. The original note entered BIOS setup with F2 or F10, then looked under System Configuration, Advanced, or Security for CPU configuration and an Intel Virtualization Technology option.

The key, menu path, and available options depend on the machine and firmware. Treat those names as search hints from an earlier system rather than a universal sequence.

A visible toggle alone does not establish that the operating system or the intended virtual-machine workload is configured correctly. No firmware setting was changed for this revision.
