A mobile CI workflow produces an artifact; signing and distribution decide what that artifact represents and who can receive it. This earlier Bitrise notebook connected those stages for a Flutter template.
Historical pipeline. The source compared services and used App Center distribution. Its price/free-tier claims and retired distribution path are not current recommendations. No CI account, signing asset, notification, or build was created.
Android workflow
The source selected a repository and branch, then supplied a platform-specific YAML workflow:
- Active SSH key to access repo
- Git clone source code
- Custom script: Parse and read VERSION and CHANGELOG content from CHANGELOG.md file(https://github.com/nhancv/nft/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md) If you use another template, please consider update the parsing script
- Flutter install with auto pull the latest stable version
- Pull Bitrise cache is it exists (save time in the next build)
- Flutter analyze
- Flutter test
- Flutter build android
- Deploy android build to AppCenter (Because Appcenter quite good in management distribution with user management) (*)
- Deploy android build to Bitrise (It's optional, to view test report the build must on Bitrise)
- Send message to Slack (*)
- Push cache to Bitrise for the next build.
Source: earlier Android workflow. A generated workflow still needs its actual commands and artifact paths reviewed.
iOS workflow and signing
- Active SSH key to access repo
- Git clone source code
- Custom script: Parse and read VERSION and CHANGELOG content from CHANGELOG.md file(https://github.com/nhancv/nft/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md) If you use another template, please consider update the parsing script
- Flutter install with auto pull the latest stable version
- Pull Bitrise cache is it exists (save time in the next build)
- Flutter analyze
- Flutter test
- Flutter build ios
- Certificate and profile installer (*)
- Xcode Archive & Export for iOS (build ipa file)
- Deploy to iTunes Connect - Application Loader (Upload build to AppStoreConnect, TestFlight) (*)
- Deploy iOS build to AppCenter (Incase ad-hoc build type. Can remove this step for app-store type) (*)
- Deploy iOS build to Bitrise (It's optional, to view test report the build must on Bitrise)
- Send message to Slack (*)
- Push cache to Bitrise for the next build.
Source: earlier iOS workflow. The original setup exported a signing certificate, supplied a provisioning profile, and matched the Xcode target to the CI signing configuration. Those assets remain private. Successful compilation is distinct from a correctly signed, installable artifact.
Secret and delivery boundaries
The source stored App Center and Slack credentials in CI secrets and configured store-upload credentials separately. Secret names are configuration references; their actual values and account screenshots are not imported.
A successful workflow, a distribution upload, an installed application, and a delivered notification require different evidence. The old mobile-trigger section also relied on a personal access token; it is summarized rather than turned into a current credential-sharing recommendation.
The transferable idea is the pipeline’s explicit stages and recoverable artifacts, not the old dashboard sequence or an unverified claim that one hosted service is faster.
