An Evmos-based local chain notebook

A historical Evmos CLI 20.0.0 experiment with single-node, multi-node, explorer, and monitoring roles.

The earlier nchain.pos repository note described an EVM chain experiment using the Evmos SDK and Evmos CLI 20.0.0. It pointed to separate single-node and multi-node arrangements, then showed Grafana and Blockscout views.

Preserve the local-use key boundary

The source explicitly states that its repository keys are public and for local use only. Public demonstration keys cannot establish private custody or production identity. No key material is copied into this garden.

A single node and a validator network answer different questions

A single-node setup can demonstrate initialization and application interactions. A multi-node arrangement adds agreement, discovery, validator membership, and failure behavior that need their own observations. The recorded CLI version belongs with the configuration; the page alone is not a current reproducible build manifest.

Grafana presents telemetry, while Blockscout indexes and presents chain data. Their old screenshots do not prove present synchronization, consensus health, or a successful current transaction. They are replaced with this description of their roles.

The Besu notebook records a different client/consensus arrangement. No repository instructions were executed, keys imported, validators started, or production deployment established for this revision.
